Which mask should I use?
The kit has toddler, child and adult mask sizes. Select by the supplied age and fit guidance, and make sure the mask is right for the person you are helping. A mask label alone does not establish a suitable fit.
Does it replace choking first aid?
No. Use established choking first aid first. Read the Steadva instructions before an emergency so you know its role. In a choking emergency, call 911 and follow the dispatcher’s guidance.
